Following the internationally successful The Beatles - All the Songs, this book analyses for the first time Bob Dylan's entire discography. Bob Dylan is a poet, a songwriter, a singer and a guitar player: a complex artist and one of the most influent composer of the 20th century. His texts are influenced by French symbolist poets and by authors of the Beat Generation; his songs have accompanied young generations' dreams and hopes since the 1960's. Bob Dylan - All the Songs analyses the songs from his 36 studio albums (his official discography), as well as all his compositions that have come out since 1991, on bootlegs and for the movies. Everything is explained, from his creative process to the poetic, musical or political references in his texts; from the instruments used to his musician's producers and sound engineer's confessions and anecdotes. This is the Bob Dylan fan's Bible!
